 Trolling motors just make your fishing time so relaxing and so much more effective. The boat will fit in to the surrounds of nature and the fish won’t even know you are there. The stealth you have with the trolling motors of today is well worth the investment. The sheer number of extra fish you will catch will amaze you.  When you are on the move with trolling motors the lures on the end of your line will dive deeper and will not follow the sound of an outboard that keeps the fish away or very nervous. You will also follow the path you think the fish will be in and not the path the tide was going to take you. You may also use trolling motors to go up river and against the tide if you need to.

Minn Kota are the top of the trolling motors but the question now is how close are the rest? There are about two or three others now making some impact on them. Trolling motors are not an easy piece of technology to copy or manufacture. Minn Kota trolling motors have been around a long time and have done there research and development and have come up with ALL the answers to boaties troubles! You could get one of the cheaper one’s out there but for how long would it remain cheaper is the big question. Whichever way you look at it though you must put on your boat one of these awesome things called trolling motors!
