Fishing hot spots are a very hit and miss thing to be looking for. Let’s look at what might generally make fishing hot spots. The thing with angling that every good specialist knows that what works today might not work tomorrow.

  This is the sometimes frustrating sport of angling that we all love and come back for more of. Fishing hot spots can be well planned out trips that take into account the tide the barometric pressure etc and still come up with no fish to talk about. The next time you head out to one of your old fishing hot spots the fish are queuing up to jump on your line. Is this coincidence or is this just luck?

  Fishing hot spots are they real or are they just luck and being in the right place at the right time. The fish world is a delicate balance of a myriad of factors that we mere humans will struggle with for the ages to come probably.  Fishing hot spots are maybe to be described as pit stops for the fish on the way around their territory. What are they up to? Do they need to feed? Are they tired? These questions might help you to find fishing hot spots or at least help you look at the water a different way. Fishing hot spots are very reliant on the tide direction and phase. If for instance you went out to one of your fishing hot spots and just sat there for two whole tides you would think you were a very good chance of coming up with fish. Fishing hot spots have a bad reputation of disappointing though, so that is the main reasons fishing hot spots is plural to start with. Fishing hot spots are definitely something you need plenty of to fall back on when one of your fishing hot spots is not performing the way you expect.  The best advice is to keep heading out and having fun working on old fishing hot spots and finding new fishing hot spots!
